The North of England branch of the Institute of Quarrying held their ever-popular Dinner Dance recently at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead, and SER hosted a table to support the event.
Sales Manager Ben Beard and Hire Desk Co-ordinator Angela Slack were joined by their partners and a selection of valued SER customers for an amazing evening of networking, dancing and of course the odd beverage or two. The event showcases what the north has to offer in quarrying and is classed as one of the best networking events within the organisation.
Entering the Hilton Hotel on a red carpet, the guests were escorted to their tables to the tune of bagpipes. They were greeted by members of the Institute before enjoying a fantastic 3 course meal. Post food entertainment included a roulette table, a photo booth, a sketch artist, and a raffle in aid of local charity Angel Trust. Once the food had settled and the music fired up, they danced the night away.
In amongst the enjoyment, there was plenty of discussion about work and how Stevens Equipment Rental can assist customers in sourcing their mobile plant – particularly (but not limited to) articulated dumptrucks and wheeled loading shovels, the core element of their fleet.
Supplying high quality modern and reliable machines from market leading OEMs such as Volvo, CAT, Bell Equipment and Liebherr, has been SER’s business for over 5 decades and the company continues to grow and flourish. Many enquiries were generated off the back of the evening from new and existing customers that SER look forward to working with.
A great night was had by all and SER will certainly be there again next year to support such a great event.
